Summer Holiday Intensive Swimming Lessons

Claremont School swimming pool is the location for the return of our popular summer swimming programme.

The school has a heated, indoor pool which is 20m long and 5 lanes wide. It is an ideal environment for beginners and advanced swimmers to learn and develop their strokes over the five consecutive days. Children of all swimming abilities are welcome to attend the summer sessions.

It is intended that the pupil to staff ratios will not exceed 6 to 1, therefore, early booking is strongly recommended to secure your place. Our Summer course will be structured in such a way as to give more personal attention to pupils, correcting their stroke faults and building on their water confidence and skill techniques. Practised over five consecutive days this will develop the young swimmers to a level at which they may be considered for moving up to the next group in their current weekly lessons.

There is plenty of seating space at the poolside to allow you to watch the children’s progress. We would advise that that taking photos is not permitted during the swimming sessions.

All of our swimming teachers are Swim England Website qualified and have also been DBS checked.
